Brian Kemp started his first business with a pickup truck and a shovel more than 35 years ago. Since taking office as Georgia’s governor in 2019, he has fought tirelessly to put Georgians and their families first.
Throughout his first term, Governor Kemp has championed legislation to crack down on crime, bring an end to human trafficking, reform foster care and adoption, cut taxes for working families, support students and educators, and secure Georgia’s elections.
As the first state in the country to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic, Kemp ensured that Georgia protected both lives and livelihoods against the impacts of the virus, and the state has seen historic economic success as a result of that decision. The Kemp Administration continues to lead the way to strengthen Georgia’s business-friendly environment and create opportunities in every corner of the state.
Governor Kemp, First Lady Marty Kemp, and their three daughters are proud natives of Athens, Georgia, and remain committed to ensuring Georgia’s best days are ahead.
